SEVEN SCRIPTURES THAT REVEAL THE GOOD INTENSIONS OF OUR GOOD FATHER-GOD 2

In Isaiah chapter1, and verse 19 we read, “If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the Land”, God in His infinite goodness, has given us the good of the Land to eat, it only depends now on our own willingness and determination to eat it. There is a version of this same, I heard a preacher read one time, that says, “If you will only let me help you…”I found that interesting, and it actually goes a long way to prove, that it is not God’s unwillingness to help us that is the problem, it is our refusal to walk in line with what His manual, that He has prepared to guide us through a successful walk, that is the problem. He has done everything well, and made us in His image, so that we can follow him.
In Psalm 50, verses 14to 15, we read, “Offer unto God thanksgiving, and pay thy vows unto the most High: 15 And call upon me in the day of trouble, and I will deliver you”. God has not only done all things well, but He has made a provision, whereby, you and I can call Him in when things go wrong. He is omniscient and omnipotent, and He has all power so when our strength begins to fail us, He rises up in us to fight every enemy, that is incensed against us. No wonder He tells us in another, scripture, that when we pass through the fire, we shall not be burned, and that when we pass through the waters, they shall not swallow us up, and that He is with us always until the end of age. Finally, the last scripture that caught my attention, while writing this article, though not the least,( these are not all the scriptures that there are on this subject, please take note) , is Revelation 2:26, to which we may add, Revelation 3:21. These scriptures show us that God is waiting for us to win, so that He will celebrate with us. Sometimes, trouble makes people to wonder if God really cares. The truth is that God is waiting for you to win your fight of faith so that He will celebrate with you. Thus in Revelation chapter 2 verse 26, we read, “He that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations, even as I received from my father”. This clearly shows that He is not only waiting for our victorious report, but has already prepared reward and promotion, to celebrate your victory, and mine. Then again we read in Revelation chapter3 verse 21, “To him that overcometh will I

SEVEN SCRIPTURES THAT REVEAL THE GOOD INTENSIONS OF OURGOOD FATHER-GOD 1

It is easy to know the character of someone, from the words that he or she speaks. It is also is also easy to know the intensions of someone from what he or she says that he wants to do. Many times, people are convicted in court because of oral evidence which they gave, so long as it was documented on a tape, or because they wrote it down.
I believe that in the same way, the good heart, and the good intensions of our loving father –God, can be mirrored, through the following scriptures.
1 John 4:9-God loves you and wants you to live, “In this was manifested the love of God towards us, because He sent His only begotten son into the World, that we might live through him.”So you can clearly see that He loves us, and He wants us to live, and not to die, and the reason he sacrificed His son, is so that we might live, through him.
In 1 Peter 2:9, we read, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him, who has called you out of darkness, into His marvelous light:..”There again, we can see that He has chosen us and called us out to Himself, to be a special people, a peculiar people, what could be more than that, and this is not a mere assumption but a statement of fact, and I will never forget something I heard a preacher say onetime which I know is true, that God never gives birth to failures. There is really no one that has followed God according to the principles of faith laid out in His word that has ended up a failure.
In Romans chapter 8 and verse 31, we read, “What shall we say then to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” This is simply telling me that that God is for us, and not against us, He is not holding a cane and waiting for us to make a slip so that He will show us that we are stupid, He is on our side.
In Isaiah 1:18, we read, “Come now let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be made as white as snow; though they be red as crimson, they shall be as white as wool”, He does not want us to run from Him, when we err, He is not accusing us either, He wants us to come back to Him, so that the dirt will be washed away, and we can be clean again, what loving father, He is.
