YOUR TONGUE, YOUR LIFE-2

A certain group of unemployed people, gathered together for an interview, they had been invited to the interview (job interview) because they applied to the company following its advertisement in a Newspaper that it had vacancies. While they were waiting for the panel that was to conduct the interview to arrive, they got talking to each other. One of them asked a question, is this organization known to do things right? Do they employ people based on merit, or do they employ based on who you know; what about bribery? A lady also wanted to know if there are any stories about women getting what they wanted, by giving what they had as women.
That was when one of them got himself into trouble, he had heard that the Managing Director of the Company/Chief Executive Officer, liked women a lot, but wisdom demanded that since he never knew this man, and had never caught this man with a woman before, and he ought to have kept quiet, about it. He had all that was required to get that job. He was brilliant and hardworking and was going to score the highest in the aptitude test. Without thinking, and without first looking behind him, he said ‘The managing Director/CEO, is a womanizer, and will go after anything in skirt’, humorously.
Unfortunately for him, the person that was coming right behind him was the man he was talking about. A few years back, his colleagues in the place of work, had started that lie against him, and were using it to destroy, his image, hoping that they will be able to take him down, eventually, because he was too talented for them and too brilliant. The whole thing rocked his very existence, because he was a disciplined and honest man. He managed to get over the whole thing and still rose to become the M.D./CEO of the company. Immediately the man heard his about- to -be employee talking about him, and saying the same things that his enemies used to wound his soul, he concluded that his enemies were about to plant another agent of theirs in the organization. He was the most powerful man in that organization, and in that panel, and was not about to let that happen. He marked the face of the naïve and unfortunate job seeker. His naivety and folly had cost him a job that he was most qualified for. Our perfect master and Lord had said, “That men shall give account of every idle word that they speak.”Matt 12:36.
